Our Commitment
At TutorProf, the safety and wellbeing of children and young people online is a top priority. We provide online tutoring and educational support, including one-to-one and small-group sessions, workshops, and homework help, in a safe digital environment.
Safe Online Learning
- All students should be safe from abuse or harm online.
- TutorProf encourages safe and responsible use of the internet, social media, and digital devices.
- We work closely with children, parents, carers, schools, and external agencies to promote online safety.
How We Keep Students Safe
- Appointing an Online Safety Coordinator to oversee policies.
- Providing clear guidance for tutors and staff on online behaviour.
- Creating online safety agreements with students and parents
- Protecting personal information and using images only with consent.
- Maintaining secure systems and regularly reviewing new technologies.
- Providing training, supervision, and support to staff and tutors
- Responding quickly and effectively to online safety incidents, including cyberbullying or inappropriate content.
Responding to Concerns
- All incidents of online abuse are taken seriously and handled through clear safeguarding procedures.
- Support is provided to students, staff, and families affected.
- Action plans are reviewed to ensure long-term safety and wellbeing.
